THE HOUSE



Typical estate dating from the 1700's, built in stone and brick. It is about 350 square meters and it has been recently remodelled following it's original structure. It is situated in a completely tranquil area about 1 Km from the center of Cittą della Pieve. The house is composed of 4 large bedrooms each one with its own bathroom, and one with a hydro massage. Each bedroom has different furnishings one from the other and in one there is even a fireplace. There are two large living-rooms with fireplace avaiable for the guests and a big dining-room with a fireplace connected to the kitchen with an internal wooden oven. The central heating is located in the floor, and every room has its own thermostat. The antique furniture is both farm-style and liberty style. There is also a restored fresco of the 1900's by a well-known Umbrian painter. It is also possible to divide the house in 3 separate apartments and the kitchen, living-room and 1 bathroom would have to be shared. Every bedroom has a colored cable TV and in the big living room there is a large TV.



The telephone line is ISDN and there are various sockets in all the rooms. The house is completely fenced-in and the land is about 20.000 sq.mt., with a cultivated olive grove and orchard including enormous secular oak trees. On the property one can admire splendid Etruscan grottos. The estate is situated on a hill about 500 mt. about sea level. The windows overlook a fantastic landscape of the surrounding country, and on a clear day you can see the Trasimeno lake. One can enjoy long walks in the country or go bicycling. The estate is completely run by the owner. A Swimming-pool will be avaiable by May 15, 2001.
